30 Plus

I recently rode to Mandurah a seaside resort 70 to 75km from home.

On the way down on Saturday morning, with a slight tailwind my average was around 28, 29km/h.
This was a great result as I was taking it easy with a sore right knee. The distance was 72km.
Returning on Sunday afternoon a few hours before sunset was even better.
However there was a strong side/tailwind that felt more like a headwind all the way.
I also took a longer way home to miss a number of busy roads.
The trip home was 75km and I happily recorded an average speed of 31km/h.
Two hours and 25 minutes from Mandurah to home. :)
This includes the warm up start and the warm down finish.
I am rapt as it is the best ride I have done on the Baron for a long time.

My next target is to constantly average the same on more hilly terrain.

Cheers
